A: Please go through the following checklist to inspect the batteries:
-
Do the batteries have shrink wrap on? Some of the AA batteries are individually shrink-wrapped. Check to see if it has shrink wrap on. If so, please be sure that the shrink wraps are removed, otherwise, the batteries will not conduct for the light to operate properly.
-
Do not use non-AA batteries, including rechargeable AA. Use of non-AA batteries will void all warranties.
-
The polarity marking is on the side of the batteries. The positive terminal is indicated with a (+) sign while the negative terminal is indicated with a (-) sign. When inserting the batteries into LED lights, be sure the positive terminal is inserted first into the light.
-
If you are knowledge in electronics, you can measure the voltage of each individual battery with a volt meter. Most AA batteries are sufficiently depleted if the volt meter reads less than 0.8 volt.
