PentagonLight™ has built the Weapon Mount Lights from ground up for rifle mounting on weapons such as M4/M16 variants rifles with Picatinny 1913 rail. These lights are some of the best tactical illumination systems available for military special operation and other elite units. With high intensity light output and advanced features such as integrated infrared illumination, manufactured by high precision CNC machine from aerospace grade aluminum in anti-abrasive, anti-corrosive, and anti-reflective military spec Type III hard anodized exterior finish, these lights are rugged and durable for illumination in the most critical environments. The anti-reflective finish of the exterior coating reduces glare and minimizes signature in ensuring stealth. A tightly integrated throw lever weapon mount from A.R.M.S. ensures reliability, ease of maintenance, has low profile and compact form factor for direct mounting to the weapon. There are two product families in the M-Series: MS-Series and MD-Series.
Every light in the MS-Series features a powerful light source utilizing either high pressure xenon gas incandescent bulb or electronically regulated Luxeon LED as the light source. MS2 Xenon Light is light weight with compact form factor designed with high maneuverability in mind, perfect for airborne units and rapid deployment forces. MS3R Xenon Light has more power designed for achieving longer distance, such as providing perimeter security. For close quarter scenarios, such as conducting urban battles, MS2 LED Light features a recoil-proof and shock-proof Luxeon LED as the light source. The LED has high power efficiency which will not have a sharp cutoff of the light output as with incandescent gas bulbs when the battery power has diminished.
Our MD-Series lights are the most sophisticated tactical illumination systems engineered for rifle attachment. Going beyond the traditional method of IR illumination of the last decade, our NVG-Light product line is our top of the line solution for providing both supplemental IR illumination and tactical white light as these lights are preconfigured with a powerful primary white light and a side infrared LED illuminator. The NVG-Lights have several significant advantages over the application of an IR filter on an xenon light for night vision illumination. One of the most critical advantage is during the transitioning from night vision to white light, which often occurs at the most critical juncture, leaving little time for the operator to take the finger off the trigger only to flip open the IR filter. The NVG-Light resolves this problem with an independent side IR LED illuminator, allowing the white light to be always available on demand when needed. Unlike the IR filtered xenon light which is weak and often inadequate, the side IR LED illuminator provides powerful IR illumination that projects a perfect spot out to 100 meters in distance. Select MD2 NVG-Light for compactness or select MD3 NVG-Light for greater distance and brightness. MD2 Xenon NVG-Light features a powerful 70 lumens xenon primary light for tactical illumination. MD2 LED NVG-Light is the most tactically advanced illumination system for meeting modern defense needs. All electronically regulated for optimal performance, both the primary Luxeon LED light and side infrared illuminator provide you with all the advantages of LED lights. MD3 NVG-Light is available in MD3F forward mount configuration for short barrel guns, such as Uzi/MP5, or MD3R rear mount configuration for longer barrel rifles, such as M4/M16 variants. Since an IR filter is not needed anymore, a red filter can be applied on the primary xenon light for generating low visible red light to be used during patrol around secured premises, or a lens cover can be applied for protecting the lens of the primary light. Our NVG-Light is the next generation tactical light system for the modern day military that operate in the darkness and those law enforcement agencies who have night vision requirements.
If longer range infrared illumination is needed for area coverage, PentagonLight™ has developed MS2 IR Illuminator as a dedicated infrared source for night vision uses. Besides eliminating the need of using an IR filter cap on conventional tactical light, this dedicated IR illuminator is a 4-watt infrared source that has a very broad view angle and capable of projecting out to 300 yards and beyond. Integrated with A.R.M.S.'s most compact #17 throw lever mount, MS2-IR mounts directly to the weapon. It is a perfect complement of other white light tactical light systems, such as our MS3R Xenon Light.
Red light is often needed for maintaining stealth and for reduced signature. The use of a red filter over the beam of a conventional flashlight creates a narrowly focused hot spot that overly affects night vision and projects excessive red light into distance, thus compromising stealth. The advantage of S2 Red Light is in its effective light diffusion. It provides wide area coverage of red light with excellent close range light intensity. S2 Red Light is therefore a great light for use around high security premises under guard in the fields and around camps.
Both X2 Xenon Light and L2 LED Light are excellent choices as handheld lights for fulfilling nominal operational needs. L3 LED Light utilizes a power efficient, electronically regulated 5-watt Luxeon LED as the light source. Powered by three CR123A, L3-HA has at least 2 hours of peak brightness and 5-6 hours of usable light output, making it an ideal light for extended search and rescue missions.
