Built to withstand roughness, L3T
Responder is a treasure that any EMT members would want
to keep in their bags. The Responder has 9 royal blue LED's
surrounding the head, most effective for tracing blood and conducting
other forensic works. Turning the head and the Responder provides
a smooth red light from 9 red LED's with a wavelength frequency
closely matching the color of oxygenated blood. Whether you
are checking the airway or conducting physical examination in
low light situations, the Responder produces a pure white light
for accurate assessment without tinting yellow as with lights
produced by incandescent lamps. Undoubtedly, the L3T Responder
is the flashlight of choice for any first responders and providers
of emergency medical care.
With a different purpose in mind, S2
19-LED Light is also a good choice for EMT and paramedic personnel.
Although not intended for achieving great distance,
there is more than enough light for practicing emergency medicine
on the field, giving a smooth and even coverage of white light
as compared to conventional incandescent lights. Since the LED's have 10,000 hr of life and the lithium batteries have 10 year shelf-life, S2 19-LED Light will also be available when there is a need for illumination in the field.
If scattered light is desirable, but a collimated light is
also needed, EMT and paramedic personnel should consider L2D
Explorer which has a focused white light provided by a
3W Luxeon in addition to 12 white LED's surrounding the 1.5"
head. The light source can be alternated by turning the head.
