Description
This filter changes the light beam color to green. The color of green is 'nature-compatible' since by adaptation, eye sights of most wild animals are least sensitive to the color of green. Changing to green light is therefore ideal for signaling your hunting buddies or to provide illumination during trap rigging without spooking the game. Green light is also recommended for backpackers and outdoorsmen who enjoy immersing in the nature with minimal intrusion and disturbances. Lastly, green light does not distort maps often printed with red and blue markings. It is friendly with night vision equipment. The housing of this professional grade filter is made of light weight polymer with fiber-additive for high durability. Its rugged design features a double spring system that exerts force to facilitate the openning of the filter cap and to keep it in the open position. When closed, our unique safety latch is used to ensure tight closure and to prevent the filter cap from accidental opening. The filter cap can only be unlatched by slight compression on top the filter cap. The anti-reflective coated glass lens improves light transmission without using highly visible reflective coating that may compromise one's position. The filter cap perfectly fits through the recessed upper rubber lid for maximal closure, thereby eliminating any possibility of light leakage. The vacuum inner rubber seal is designed for the ultra-tight fitting of the filter to the flashlight head.single filter |
