Description
MD3R Xenon LaserLight integrates two essential elements: tactical illumination and bystander casualty reduction. When the military carries out urban warfare or when a SWAT team conducts tactical operation, this integration of the light and laser with ARMS #17S compact throw lever mount reduces overall form factor. The mount easily engages and disengages the entire unit from the Picantinney rail, thus reducing preparation complexity, and enables quick and easy system maintenance. As a 9-volts system, MD3 Xenon LaserLight is pre-configured with a power 135-lumen xenon light. The light source is protected by an anti-scratch tempered glass lens and is maximally focused at factory for achieving the greatest distance and center brightness. The "flaming heat-sink" design of the head ensures adequate heat dissipation for thermal management of the xenon bulb in lengthening its bulb life and optimizing its performance. The xenon bulb is damped by the internal spring-loaded back-plate deflection mechanism as the lamp assembly is completely isolated from the rest of the light while the batteries are compartmentalized to provide MD3 with excellent performance against weapon recoil. MD3R Xenon LaserLight features an offset red laser for targeting assistance. The laser can be calibrated for windage and elevation with a laser bore sight kit. This laser side module is easily interchangeable with optional side LED lights for providing supplemental IR illumination, low visibility red light, or reduced signature NVG-compatible light. Manufactured by high precision CNC machine from aerospace grade aluminum with anti-abrasive, anti-corrosive, and anti-reflective military spec Type III hard anodized exterior finish, MD3R Xenon LaserLight is rugged and durable for illumination in the most critical environments. The anti-reflective finish reduces glare and minimizes signature in ensuring stealth. MD3R Xenon LaserLight is preconfigured with TR3 straight-cord tri-mode remote pressure pad switch. Positioned in momentary mode, the light can be activated by pressing the remote pressure pad. Turn tail-cap slightly to position in constant-on mode. Constant-on switches light on continuously without pressing, and is also useful in the event of remote pressure pad or cord failure. The pentagonal shape tail-cap facilitates rotation for operating the switch mechanism, including positioning the switch in lockout mode. This tail-cap is compact and light-weight, allowing the system to have better form factor. Additional tail-caps are available for alternate methods of switch operation. An independent recessed push ON/OFF tail-cap switch easily activates the offset laser, and can be placed in safety lockout position. All connections are sealed with double O-rings for extra protection against water leakage. MD3R LaserLight features universal and flexible PentagonLight™ Interchangeable Light Source (ILS) System, ensuring compatibility for other alternative light sources in meeting your mission-specific needs. Rear integrated mount is most suitable for attaching to rifles such as M4/AR15 variants, where it frees up more space around the foreend grip. A standard 1" diameter diamond knurl section of the body in the front is suitable for securing additional weapon accessories with a conventional clip mount. Each MD3R LaserLight is individually serialized for inventory control. The unit can be easily serviced in the field including the option of replacing the front tempered glass lens if it is damaged during an unexpected frontal impact. MD3R Xenon LaserLight is the choice for the military and law enforcement when illumination and precision are both at the top of consideration.
