Description
eX2 has all the core elements of our higher end X2 tactical handheld light. Whether you are using it for low light tactical maneuvers or as a backup light, eX2 meets illumination requirements of a tactical operator to the needs of a patrol officer. Utilizing similar xenon light source of X2, the B-eX2 xenon lamp assembly produces 70 lumens of light output with its optimally focused micro textured reflector. The light beam is pre-focused at the factory for optimal center intensity in achieving the longest distance. The lamp is protected with tempered glass lens that can be replaced if cracked from frontal impact. Unlike other low end flashlights made of plastic materials, eX2 is completely crafted out of aerospace grade aluminum for heavy uses. Using precision CNC machine, the single flaming heat sink provides adequate heat management. The eX2 is completely finished in anti-corrosive Type II black anodized exterior. All connections are sealed with o-ring for protection against water leakage. eX2 is preconfigured with TC3 tactical momentary tail-cap switch. It can be pushed for momentary-on or turn to constant-on. The pentagonal raised rubber button is soft and easy to push with a long throw for modulating between momentary and constant operation. The switch is housed in an anti-roll pentagonal shape tail cap making it easy for one-hand operation for positioning the switch in safety lock against accidental switch on. eX2 is preconfigured with TC3 tail-cap. Press the tail button for momentary operation or turn the tail-cap to switch on constant. Optional tail-caps are available for additional switching functions, including tactical momentary tail-cap, and swivel belt-clip tail-cap. Although eX2 is engineered without bezel isolation and battery compartmentalization, the head is removable from the body, allowing it to be interchangeable for alternate light sources, such as UV light or IR light from our diverse selection of conversion heads available separately. eX2 is therefore designed with all the upgrade possibilities in mind, so your initial investment for a high quality flashlight is maximized. The eX2 is compatible with all of our existing accessories from holsters to front cap filters. Two PentagonLight™ CR-123A lithium batteries with 10-year shelf-life are included.
