The High-Intensity Professional
Series features Interchangeable Light Sources, which allows
the users to customize their flashlights with the most appropriate
light sources for meeting their illumination needs. The Light
Source Conversion Kits are available online. This flexibility
of being able to expand the functionalities of an existing light
is enjoyed by many who wish to have a power efficient LED-based
light for regular uses and a powerful xenon light source occasionally
during those special excursions. Such possibilities are unlimited
as light sources such as Luxeon have colors most appropriate
for various special tasks, and can be interchange with a xenon
light when needed.
Reserve Power for Rechargeables
Our R3 Homelander Reserve is a truly unique
rechargeable. The complete depletion of the rechargeable battery
will likely to cause a sudden decrease in the brightness down
to a non-useable level without much warning. Even though the
Ni-MH batteries have doubled the capacity over the conventional
Ni-Cd batteries used by other rechargeable manufacturers, it
is still possible that the battery is completed depleted due
to extended usage or inadequately recharged. The special feature
of R3 Homelander Reserve enables the user to quickly switch
the power source to a reserve cell of CR123A lithium battery
by pressing the red reserve button positioned above the PentagonLight™
signature rubber main power switch. The reserve power provides
power to generate the same high-intensity brightness during
the most critical time, just enough to get out of any possible
life-threatening situation. Unlike the rechargeable batteries
that deplete at a fixed rate even if not used, the CR123A
lithium battery has 10-year shelf life therefore you can
be sure that there is always enough power left during the most
critical time.
Anti-Recoil Tactical Lights

even in the most demanding environments.
